Eindhoven

Eindhoven is one of the oldest, biggest and busiest cities in the Netherlands with huge historical background and with the same amount of modern culture and social life. It was used as a fortress with enhanced defenses, which made the city a considerable economical centre in the region in the 1200-1300s.

Today the city builds around its industry and its shopping centres as well, and tourism takes a huge part in the blossoming of the city too. There are various activities for the lovers of any art, sport, or history such as the Van Abbemuseum for the modern art enthusiasts, the stadium of PSV Eindhoven for the football fans, and last but not least, the Bavaria Pub in Lieshout, next to Eindhoven.

By renting a car you can easily reach this cozy inn which is only a 16 kilometres away so make sure you bring a designated driver with you! The main transportation used by locals is the bicycle, so should you rent a car you do not have to be afraid of huge traffic jams! Eindhoven and so is the whole Netherlands are based on the idea of toleration. Keep that in mind when driving and enjoy the peaceful rides on the really well-structured roads of this beautiful city while getting from one lovely place to another.
