Budapest

The capital of Hungary, Budapest, lies on both sides of the river Danube. It is one of the largest cities in the European Union. It is separated to two big parts Buda and Pest. The diversity of Buda’s relaxing and quiet atmosphere, and the liveliness of Pest makes the city a perfect destination to everyone. The various museums of the city can satisfy every need of the lovers of art. Lovers of arts must visit the Museum of Fine Arts on the Heroes’ Square and the building of the Hungarian Parliament on the Danube bank on the Pest side and the Castle of Buda –surprisingly- on the Buda side. Starting from the Heroes’ Square you can start driving along the famous Andrássy Avenue. The so-called ‘ruin-pubs’ which are a Hungarian invention will surely give you a whole new perspective on nightlife in Europe. The buzzing nightlife of Budapest is full of party opportunities so really, this city has something for each age and interest group. Public transport is mostly crowded, but the road structure of Budapest is really easy to follow. It is recommended to rent a car if you wish to see every part of the city, since it will surely save you a lot of valuable time, and will give you the freedom and flexibility of exploring the city at your own time management.
