The Czech Republic's history reaches far back to the late 5th and early 6th century when the first Slavic tribes settled down in the region. Prague, the capital is often called the most beautiful city in Europe with the Charles-bridge and its compelling Old Town and churches.
The Czech Republic holds more than 2000 castles, towers, and ruins, only Belgium and France hold this much of these. The Czech Republic is also contributing largely to the UNESCO World Heritage, and the arts of Europe.
In Prague one can find loads of museums, churches, and other cultural institutions that can satisfy the needs of art lovers. You can also wander around the green areas of the city, if you go through the Charles-bridge from the Old Town. The park will give you a marvellous look over the city centre too. The nightlife of Prague is also very lively, and buzzing, you can find pubs, and bars all over the squares around the city.
The Czech Republic offers various tourist destinations to its visitors. Apart from the lively and vibrating cities, there are towns like Karlovy Vary, where the main attractions are based on relaxation. The thermal town is based on its geological attributes. The hot springs give the city some really useful resources. Their waters cure people, and also have great relaxing effects, and if you wish to experience a full rejuvenation it is the best place to go to in the country.
If you wish for another kind of relaxation, for example trying out the great beer culture of the country, you have countless opportunities to do so. It won't be a very expensive journey. Consider doing it in Brno, since there you can find much more kinds of beer than in Prague.
